Descriptions:
LIQUID SULFUR is an organic liquid fertilizer relied on the active ingredient sulphur-based and is suited for controlling fungal diseases like scab, sooty blotch, Marssonina and powdery mildew especially in organic orchards but also in the integrated pest management. LIQUID SULFUR with its unique mode of action is the only curative fungicide in organic fruit production that is able to protect apples during long-lasting rainfalls without to expect resistance. The alkaline reaction of LIQUID SULFUR causes the hydrolysis of lipids in the fungal cells and thus facilitates the permeation of the active component sulfur-based through the cell wall. Once inside the cell the active ingredient hinders the normal metabolism and interferes with the citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle). The active ingredient does not only cause this effect, but also by its metabolite elemental sulphur, that is a well-known and effective fungicide. After drying LIQUID SULFUR forms a contact layer of elemental sulphur with a good rain stability and good protective effect. The main focus is not only the control of fungal diseases in fruit trees,
LIQUID SULFUR is also able to cover a broad range of indications like Apple scab (Venturia inaequalis), Pear scab (Venturia pyrina), Powdery mildew in apple and peach (Podosphaera leucotricha), Leaf-curl (Taphrina deformans and T. pruni) Shot-hole (Stigmina carpophila, Clasterosporium carpophilum, Phoma prunorum) Powdery mildew (Podosphaera tridactyla, Sphaerotheca pannosa persicae), Monilia spp. in stone fruit trees, and finally Leaf-curl (Taphrina deformans and T. pruni) shot-hole (S. carpophila and C. carpophilum) Powdery mildew (U. necator, P. tridactyla and S. pannosa persicae), Monilia spp. in grape nurseries and all fruit bearing trees.

Dosage and guidelines
DILUTE SPRAY OR APPLICATION – For general dilute applications, use higher dosage (1000- 4000 liters/ha) on larger trees where required. CONCENTRATE SPRAY OR APPLICATION – For concentrate spray applications, use 1000 liters/ha. NOTE: When using concentrate sprays do not exceed 50 liters of LIQUID SULFUR per 1200 LITERS on a per hectare basis. (NOTE: Rust mites and scale insects have been shown to be more effectively controlled with dilute or semi-dilute applications.)
